Nadine Zimmer, a lifelong animal rights activist and a long time FOZE supporter passed away in summer. A regular participant at many animal rights events ranging from campaigns as diverse as vivisection and fur, to veganism and captive animals campaigns, her commitment to the causes inspired many. The passion and energy she brought to the events was infectious and Portland has lost a courageous champion for animals. Although we dearly miss her, she has left us with many sweet memories and inspiration. Rest in Power, Nadine.

FOZE will hold a short memorial for Nadine after our outreach event on Saturday, 19th Nov at the zoo, and we invite you to join us to honor her memory.
