FOZE wants to meet you! Public Meeting on Oct. 27
COMMUNITY MEETING in PORTLAND
Sunday, October 27
2:30pm to 4:30pm
Hollywood Library
4040 NE Tillamook Street
Portland, OR 97212
FOZE invites you to learn about our actions to free the Oregon Zoo elephants. We would love for you to join us in our efforts to stop the breeding, buying and importing of elephants to the zoo and to free the elephants to sanctuary, starting with Chendra, the lone Borneo elephant who is currently in isolation with Tuberculosis.
We will share a short video and our personal stories of why we got involved in this issue. We will also share what strategies, challenges and successes we have experienced, and how we are working with allies around the world to achieve freedom for all elephants. We welcome your story about what draws you to elephants, and how you would like to work with us to free them from their years of suffering in captivity.
There is usually plenty of street parking around the library, the meeting room is in the back of the library.
We look forward to meeting you!
