Join us this coming Thursday, Oct. 2 for our First Thursday appearance to testify at Metro. Let’s keep the pressure on Metro and let the councilors know we are not going away–not until Packy is freed to sanctuary and then the goal is an elephant-free zoo. The momentum is growing, many zoos across the nation and the world have closed their elephant exhibits. Let’s keep the west cost momentum going. San Francisco closed its elephant exhibit back in 2004, the same year Detroit closed its exhibit.  In Seattle activists are working hard to send their last two elephants to sanctuary after the matriarch, Watoto died in August.  We each have 3 minutes to speak, but come to show support even if you don’t want to testify.
