Free the Oregon Zoo Elephants and In Defense of Animals (IDA) are sponsoring a “Rally to Free Packy” to coincide with his 52nd birthday party. On April 12th, he will have spent 52 years behind bars and is suffering from many conditions and illnesses directly related to his captivity including a life-threatening form of tuberculosis. We will be rallying to urge Oregon Zoo officials to release him to safety and comfort of sanctuary now!
