Please attend and testify at the Metro Hearing on Thursday, May 8th at 2 p.m., Metro Council Chambers, 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232. Metro councilors will hear public testimony concerning the 2015 budget which contains a multimillion-dollar subsidy to support elephant abuse at the Oregon Zoo.  To provide you with a background of the issues, we offer Metro Hearing Talking Points.  Pick just a few of these points — you will have three minutes to testify.  And please end your testimony by asking to free Packy.  Even if you don’t plan on testifying, your presence there will show the council there are many who support this cause.  Take an hour from your busy day  and help us fill the room!

Join the rally at 12:30 pm in front of Metro on Grand. We will have banners and signs.  Come help us make voters aware that they can write in Packy for districts 1, 2 and 4.
